After being a constant and critical part of the NCU Martin Shield Team for a number of years, Cammeray’s 2-time NCU Champion Player, Shane Henry, has been appointed captain of the representative team for the 2021/2022 season.
Debuting in 17/18, Henry has played 7 matches for the NCU rep side taking 17 wickets with the ball and 84 runs at an average of 21 with the bat.
For the green and gold last season in 1st grade, Shano took out the honours as NCU’s Champion Player for the second year running with phenomenal numbers totalling 678 points across 12 matches.
Opening the bowling, Henry took 25 wickets at an average of 12.64 with an economy of 2.56. His best figures were against West Pymble taking 5/16 in 20 overs. He was no stranger with the bat either being 3rd top scorer (263 runs) at an average of 26.30 with two half centuries to his name.
