3rd Grade | 9/126 def North Ryde RSL 9/122 @ Gore Hill | One Day Match

Winning the toss, Cammeray batted first and were instantly on the back food with both openers dismissed below 10. Steering the ship as skipper as no.3 was James Dainton who notched an all important 33 joined by top scorer Dave Sirr with 38. Also in the action was Hugo Vlachos with 16 – they didn’t know it, but Matt Janssen’s 9 and Ian Harkin’s 5 were some of the most important runs of the day.

The North Ryde chase had some ex first graders in the attack, and they showed their value scoring important runs throughout the innings. Coming down to the last 3 overs, North Ryde needed 20 with 3 wickets in hand. 2 overs with 17 runs to chase. Before the last over with 8 to chase.

Stepping up was Josh Mass in the last over bowling the final delivery with North Ryde only needing 4 to win. Bowling figures go Tom Comerford with 3/10 off 7 with the rest of the attack getting a pole each.
